Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Wind Down, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The Service

Wind Down provides a nightly wellness ritual including guided breathing exercises, journaling prompts, and AI-generated reflections. We are not a medical service. The breathing exercises and reflections are designed for general wellbeing only and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional.

Subscription

Wind Down Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and billed by Apple. You can cancel at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

User Content

Your journal entries — including release text, gratitude text, and AI reflections — belong to you. We do not access, read, or store your journal content on our servers. The only exception is when you use the AI reflection feature: your release and grateful text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a personalised reflection. This data is not retained after the response is generated.

Acceptable Use

Wind Down is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to: • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app • Use the app for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to access other users' data or systems • Redistribute or resell the app or its content

Disclaimer

The app is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the app's reliability, availability, or suitability for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee that using Wind Down will improve your sleep, reduce anxiety, or achieve any specific health outcome.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Wind Down shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
