Privacy Policy

Overview

Pirate Gin Rummy is a single-player card game. Gameplay data stays on your device. We do not sell your personal data. Advertising is used to support the free app; where required by law (including the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before serving personalised ads.

Data We Collect

Pirate Gin Rummy stores the following information locally on your device: • Display name (defaults to "You") • Game settings (sound, haptics, turn timer, and similar preferences) • In-progress match saves • Match history (wins, losses, and scores against AI opponents) • Whether help screens have been shown • Whether ads have been removed via an in-app purchase All of this data lives on your device only. We do not operate a server that stores your personal information.

Data We Do Not Collect

Pirate Gin Rummy does not access or collect: • Your location • Your contacts • Camera or microphone data • Photos or files from your device • Account credentials or social logins We do not run our own analytics or behavioural tracking.

Advertising

Pirate Gin Rummy uses Google AdMob to show banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), approximate location derived from IP address, and device or usage information to deliver and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, UK, and other regions where required, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form. Ads are only requested after consent requirements are met. You can change your advertising choices through the privacy options presented by that form where applicable. If you purchase Remove Ads, ads are no longer shown on your device. For more detail on how Google uses data for advertising, see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Purchases

Optional purchases (such as Remove Ads for A$3.99) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Purchase status is verified with Apple and stored locally on your device so the app can hide ads after a successful purchase.

Third Party Services

Pirate Gin Rummy uses the following third-party services: • Google AdMob — advertising • Google User Messaging Platform — consent for advertising where required • Apple App Store — payment processing for optional purchases These services process data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive a copy of your payment details from Apple.

Your Rights

You can clear match history from Settings → Clear Record. Uninstalling Pirate Gin Rummy removes local settings, saves, and history from your device. Because we do not store your gameplay data on our servers, deletion of that data is immediate and complete when you clear it in-app or uninstall the app. For advertising consent in regions where the UMP form applies, open Settings → Privacy Options in the app to change or withdraw your choice (or use Apple's advertising / app privacy settings on your device).

Children

Pirate Gin Rummy is a card game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app's advertising partners, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
