Launching Wind Down: Nightly Ritual on the App Store

Most nights end in scrolling. Wind Down is a short, repeatable ritual that gives bedtime a better structure.

The idea behind Wind Down started with a simple observation: the way most people end their day actively works against sleep. Phones in bed, replaying arguments, scrolling through content that has no off switch. The problem isn't willpower — it's that there's no obvious alternative structure.

Wind Down is that structure. Four steps, the same order every night: breathe, release, gratitude, reflect. The whole sequence takes a few minutes. It doesn't compete with sleep — it leads into it.

Why an app, not a habit tracker

There are plenty of habit trackers and meditation apps. Wind Down is neither. It's not trying to build a streak for its own sake or send you down a content rabbit hole at 10pm. It's a single, consistent ritual — one thing you do at the end of the day, not a platform you manage.

The sequence is fixed by design. Same four steps, every night. That predictability is the point: your brain starts to associate the ritual with sleep, and the transition gets easier over time.

What's in the app

The core ritual is free. Wind Down Pro adds personalised reflections, a full sound library, extra breathing patterns, full journal history on device, and a Streak Saver for subscribers.

Everything stays on your device. No account required for the free experience. No data sold or shared.

Built by M² Design

Wind Down is the first consumer app shipped under the M² Design studio. It went from concept to App Store in a focused build — one product, one purpose, shipped properly.
